Hearing Aid Repair

Hearing aids are designed for long-term performance, but hearing aids require some upkeep from time to time.

Troubleshooting Your Hearing Aid At-Home

If you believe your hearing aid has been damaged and need repair, check these various parts of your hearing aid before calling a hearing healthcare professional.

First, make sure your hearing aid is turned on. Then, double check the volume. If it is too low, you may not be able to hear well. Check the batteries– whether they are rechargeable or disposable, make sure they are working and that is not the issue with your hearing aid.

If you have a behind-the-ear (BTE) model, inspect the tubing. BTE tubing can sometimes become damaged or worn over time. If your tubing shows any signs of breakage, please contact our office for repair.

All hearing aids come with a 45-day no-obligation trial period, (excluding a $150 per aid restocking fee), 1 to 3 year repair warranty, and a 1 to 3 year loss and damage policy. During your warranty period, all your follow-up visits, including all adjustments and cleanings, are at no additional charge.
